Rahat Indori

Rahat Indori is an Indian Bollywood lyricist and Urdu language poet. He is also a former professor of Urdu language and a painter. Prior to this he was a pedagogist of Urdu literature at Indore University. He did his schooling from Nutan School Indore from where he completed his Schooling. He completed his graduation from Islamia Karimia College Indore in 1973 and has passed his MA in Urdu literature from Barkatullah University Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) in 1975. Rahat Indori was awarded a PhD in Urdu literature from the Bhoj University of Madhya Pradesh in 1985 for his thesis titled Urdu Main Mushaira.

Irshad Kamil

Irshad Kamil was born on 5 September 1971. He is an Indian poet and lyricist. His songs appear in Bollywood films including Jab We Met, Chameli, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhanaa, Highway, Tamasha, and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Irshad Kamil is a lyricist of class. Every time he writes, he tries to break the boundaries of generation gap and compels one to think beyond words. He has command on all genres and his wordplay easily travels the terrains of life, philosophy, romance, patriotism, sensuousness and Sufism. It’s the color of simple words and deep thoughts that paints his writings. Apart from winning three Filmfares, he has been awarded with the likes of Screen, IIFA, Zee Cine, Apsara, GIMA, Mirchi Music, Big Entertainment and Global Indian Film and Television Award.

Aziz Nabeel

Full Name of Aziz Nabeel is Azizur Rahman Muhammad Siddique Ansari. He was Born on 26 June 1976 in Mumbai. He studied at Jamia Millia in Mumbai, Azam Garha and Delhi. He worked for the promotion of Indian literature, civilization and language since 1999 in the Arabian Gulf of Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. His Publications included, Khab Samudra (Shayari 2011), opens on Awaaz Ke (Shayari - 2019), First Rain (Shayari - 2019), Firaq Gorakhpuri (Shakhiyat, Shayari and Shanakht - 2014), Irfan Siddiqui (Hayat, Khidmat - 2015), Pandit Anand Narayan Mulla (Personality and Fun-2016), Pandit Brij Narayan Chakbast (2018), Book of Series Documents (Edited - 2010 to date). He has awarded Sahir Ludhianvi Award, 'Firaq Gorakhpuri Award', 'Abdul Gafoor Shehbaz Award, etc.

Wasim Barelvi

Wasim Barelvi was born on 8 February 1940 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He is an eminent Indian Urdu poet. His ghazals, many sung by Jagjit Singh, are very popular He has been awarded with the "Firaq Gorakhpuri International Award" and the Kalidas gold medal by the Haryana government, in recognition for his services in the field of Urdu poetry. He also recieved the Begum Akhtar Kala Dharmi award and the Naseem-e-Urdu award. Wasim Barelvi is Vice Chairman of the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. He has also performed at the cultural event of NIT Allahabad.

Nusrat Mehndi, Madhya Pradesh, India

Nusrat Mehndi has a keen interest in poetry, story writing, articles, drama and screenwriting. I She makes extensive and meaningful writing both in prose and verse. Nusrat ji is a postgraduate in Hindi and English and has served in several important positions including Secretary of the Department of Culture, Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy and Deputy Director of Allama Iqbal Adbi Markaz. She has actively and continuously participated in international seminars, Urdu conferences, workshops, Mushayars. She has made literary trips to countries like America, England, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Muscat etc. Her poetic compositions include Saya Saya Dhup, Bala Pa, Main Bhi Toh Hoon (Devanagari) etc. She has awarded with National Award, Anand Samman, Sumiran Geet Samman, Abhinav Shilpi Samman, Srishti Kala Moti Samman, Mother Teresa Gold Medal, Nushur Award etc.

Parveen Kaif

Parveen Kaif was born on 23 December 1956. She did his Masters in Urdu and Ph.D. She has been involved in creating Urdu poetry and Hindi poetry for the last four decades. Her book 'Safar Ek Yug' published in 2013 has been very popular. She participated in more than 150 national and international musicals. Her articles are published in many popular magazines. Awards and Honors - Samata Pratibha Samman (1995), Rashtriya Hindi Sevi Millennium Award (2000), Narmada Aanchal Samman (2010), Islamic Studies Association Award (2011), Kahkhane-Adab Samman (2013), Shifa Gwaliori Subai Award (2012- 13), All India Language Literature Conference Bhopal's National Award (2016), Hamid Hassan Shad Award (2018), including many honors. She is a member of the Urdu Academy of Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal) and Madhya Pradesh People's Writers Association
